How are you keeping busy?
The main thing that is keeping me going is running the Comedy Women in Print Prize that I set up recently - and canvassing for support to keep it going. Also doing the admin which drives me crackers as I’m so bad at it – technology is a challenge I need help - know anyone?! I’m also writing when I can focus and remembering to buy birthday presents on Amazon for friends and family... and eyelash dye.
What has been your biggest challenge through all of this?
Trying not to drink every day – ( I do) - and fearing the virus, as well as hearing all the sad news and worrying that the NHS, and other amazing people, aren’t getting enough support.
Do you have any book, TV series or film recommendations?
I loved the series ‘unorthodox’ and any scandi noir series that pops up on Netflix
Have you learnt anything about yourself?
That I’m lazy and getting rounder…need to do more Rosemary Connelly DVD’s – and I like connecting with people on Zoom – as isolation can make you become quiet.
What are you looking forward to most when things begin to return to normal?
Being in a candlelit bar with friends and shouting to be heard over the chatter and the music. Travelling to Ibiza, driving in the country, markets, pubs…don’t start me!
