As we put this issue together, schools are still seeing high numbers of COVID-19 amongst pupils and staff, but despite this, restrictions are being lifted, and there is real hope that 2022 will hold less uncertainty for us all.
One certainty is that the events and entertainment industry is finally beginning to see a return to normality. Our What’s On Guide (pages 8-11) is full of fabulous ideas for family fun over the next few months and during the Easter Holidays. Thinking ahead to the Summer - Kew the Music have a fantastic week of concerts (see outside back cover) and, even further ahead still, Christmas at Blenheim Palace and Christmas at Kew tickets are already on sale - don’t miss out!
This issue includes a selection of insightful interviews and thought-provoking editorial; Robin Chatwin from Savills gives us the low-down on the South London Property Market (page 16), Ranji Goodwin from Sterling Practice discusses the challenges surrounding the mental health and well-being of children and young people (page 30), Dr Chris Stevens from Bradfield College writes about the importance of Pupil Leadership (page 40), and we talk to Sebastian Hepher about his role as Principal of Eaton Square Schools (page 42).
