Hello!
It’s been an interesting start to the year, not least with Brexit finally going ahead. If the upside of this means there is a temporary surge in confidence and the economy in general, then we should all be feeling a little more positive. Having spoken to businesses in the area, I gather times are already extremely tough with crazily high rents and a lower footfall. Sadly there have been a few local shop closures recently but with all of our support as local residents, perhaps we can turn the tide and prevent too many more casualties.
Interestingly, amongst the madness of it all, we are aware of even more new openings in the area than ever before and an additional page has been set aside for this Section so that we can reveal What’s New in South London!
Editorial in this issue includes a feature on Stephenson Brothers – rocking horse makers to Her Majesty The Queen, an interview with the Founder of Rosa’s Thai Café and an insightful and uplifting piece on Life after Bereavement. A new addition to the magazine is a regular Health & Wellbeing column written by Nutritional Therapist, Sam Bourne, who plans to impart her knowledge on a number of thought-provoking topics.
We have some great ideas for Family Days Out & Easter Holiday Activities, a section in the magazine has been dedicated to this and other ideas can be found on our What’s On pages.
Take advantage of discounted tickets to the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park and the House & Garden Festival at Olympia. We also have reader offers from Stevenson Brothers Rocking Horse Makers, Skinsmiths, Melissa Coupe, Fitter Feet for Life, and NorthWood Senior School. Do make the most of these and please support our wonderful selection of advertisers – remember to mention the ISA Magazine when you call them.
Look out for our posts on FB, Twitter, and Instagram where we will be sharing additional editorial, recipes, and event information. Follow us to make sure you don’t miss out.
Hope you enjoy this issue!
